Best practices when creating and organizing Space Projects.

Tags

TIP

• All Tags MUST use a slash-separated virtual path format: prefix/child/grandchild

All projects should contain all relevant SRN-related tags:

prefix	purpose	examples
org	The owning organization	org/solarix, org/osu/forestry
project	The project	project/core, project/core/hosting/mattermost
app	The specific app	app/dashboard, app/audit-connector

In most cases the project/ tag will closely mirror the Space Project name. This is perfectly fine and expected, but explicitly adding the tag ensures company-wide consistency and improves searchability.

Adding Tags

Tags can be added during initial project creation.

Editing Tags

Tags can be edited under Project > Settings > Tags.
